As a little girl, I can remember picking figs + sun warmed tommy-toes in my Nanee's garden. Grabbing a handful of honeysuckles and digging my toes into warm freshly tilled Georgia clay is a core memory that still brings me joy to this day. It was with my sweet grandmother and her green thumb in mind, that I journeyed into gardening in 2018, and a dream of a hobby farm was born. What started as four raised beds on .42 acres has blossomed into a 6- acre farmstead that grows by the day.
We wanted our children to experience the magic of raising and growing things, and as a family we are still enthralled by the magic of planting something and watching it bloom. Join us!
Who We Are
Wild Acres is our small family farm tucked into the NW Georgia countryside. What started as a dream for a quieter, more connected life has slowly grown into a place filled with dairy goats, a Jersey cow, gardens, flowers, and a whole lot of learning as we go.
We believe good things take time . We cherish growing food, raising animals well, and building something meaningful with our own hands. Our days are full of milking, planting, gathering eggs, chasing kids (the human and goat kind), and finding beauty in the everyday moments of farm life. Outside of the farm we are a lineman and a nurse and three rowdy kids, hence Wild Acres. A place where wildness is embraced and curated chaos is the ruling theme.
Everything we offer - from fresh flowers and farmstand goods to goat milk soap and photography - grows out of this place we love for the life we’re building here. We’re so glad you found us!
