Jersey Cows
After falling in love with mini nubians, we decided that we needed to add in cows. We searched high and low for the perfect family milk cow and found that Jerseys were the perfect fit for our family. Dandy is our milk cow and she is due with her second calf in July! Stay tuned for all of the baby calf goodness!
Raw Milk
We personally milk Dandy and use that rich milk to make a long list of products including but not limited to, cheese, yogurt, and ice cream!
Raw Milk
The milk from our Jersey cow is A2/A2 milk, meaning it contains only the A2 form of the beta-casein protein found in milk. Many people believe this is the type of milk humans consumed for thousands of years before modern breeding introduced the A1 variant. Because it contains only the A2 protein, some people find it gentler on digestion.
